Business Development Manager

Working Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and additional hours)  

Salary: Competitive based on knowledge, skills & experience  

Who We’re Looking For:
A passionate, culturally aware professional who speaks the language of our community—both literally and culturally. If you’re fluent in Bangla and English, understand Bengali traditions, values, and community dynamics, and have a flair for marketing and sales, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, approach, and secure advertising and sponsorship opportunities from businesses targeting the British Bangladeshi market.
• Develop customised marketing proposals that resonate with clients and align with the cultural preferences of our audience.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with both Bangladeshi-owned and mainstream UK businesses.
• Represent TV One at community events, business expos, and cultural gatherings.
• Collaborate with the programming and creative teams to develop effective, culturally relevant advertising content.

• Drive digital marketing initiatives across social media platforms to support TV advertising.

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, promotion, or media sales.
• Fluent in Bangla and English – both spoken and written is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bangla, with confidence in presenting ideas and closing deals.
• Knowledge of British Bangladeshi culture, community interests, and market trends.
• Proven ability to attract and manage advertising clients.
• Digital marketing experience is a strong advantage.
